Opportunities

1

Post-Doctoral Fellows

We have a funded, post-doctoral fellowship position available for a project investigating how motor encoding in spared brain regions changes in response to an ischemic injury. Our ideal candidate has experience in neurophysiological recordings in non-human primates and/or a background in large-scale neurocomputational approaches.

2

Graduate Students

We are always looking for talented graduate students with a passion for neuroscience. We typically recruit students from the Integrative Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences (IGPBS) at the University of Kansas Medical Center or through the Bioengineering Program at the University of Kansas

3

Lab Volunteers

In the Kansas City area and are looking for volunteer opportunities to gain research experience in a basic science laboratory? Medical, undergraduate, and high school students who rotated through the lab have a great track record for getting placed in competitive programs across the country. All applications are through the KEE Program, but need to be cleared by Dr. Guggenmos prior to submission
